11. Website Hosting
Hosting services are billed in advance.
Hosting fees are generally non-refundable after the hosting service has commenced.
If hosting is cancelled:
- The Client remains responsible for all outstanding hosting fees.
- Website files and backups should be downloaded before the service termination date.
12. Domain Names
Domain registrations and renewals are non-refundable once processed.
If a domain is transferred away from CBRT Group, any fees already paid remain non-refundable.
13. Website Maintenance Plans
Monthly maintenance plans may be cancelled by either party with 30 days’ written notice, unless otherwise agreed.
No partial refunds will be provided for the current billing period once maintenance services have commenced.
14. Monthly Digital Marketing Services
Monthly services, including SEO, Google Ads management, social media management, or other recurring marketing services, may be cancelled by providing 30 days’ written notice.
Fees for the current billing period remain payable.
15. Third-Party Costs
The Client is responsible for all approved third-party costs, including but not limited to:
- Domain registration fees.
- Hosting fees.
- Software licences.
- Premium plugins.
- Stock photography.
- Advertising budgets.
- External service subscriptions.
These costs are not refundable by CBRT Group.
16. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will normally be processed within 10 to 15 business days.
- Refunds will be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
- Bank transfer fees or payment processing charges may be deducted where permitted by law.
17. Disputed Charges
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us promptly.
We will investigate the matter in good faith and respond within a reasonable time.
18. Force Majeure
Refunds will not be payable for delays or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters

- Power failures

19. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002, or any other applicable South African law.

This SLA forms part of our Terms & Conditions of Service and applies to clients who subscribe to ongoing support, maintenance, hosting, SEO, digital marketing, or managed services.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this SLA is to:

- Clarify client and provider responsibilities.

3. Business Hours
Standard Support Hours:
Monday – Friday
08:00 – 17:00 (South African Standard Time)
Excluding:
- Saturdays
- Sundays
- South African Public Holidays
Emergency support may be available outside business hours by prior agreement or for critical incidents.
4. Support Channels
Support requests may be submitted via:
- Support ticket system (where available)
- Telephone
- Client portal (where available)
Support requests should include:
- Company name
- Contact person
- Description of the issue
- Website or service affected
- Screenshots (where applicable)
- Error messages (if available)
5. Incident Priority Levels

8. Website Availability
Where website hosting is provided by CBRT Group, we aim to achieve:
Target Uptime: 99.9%
Uptime excludes:
- Scheduled maintenance.
- Emergency maintenance.
- Third-party outages.
- Internet service provider failures.
- Force majeure events.
- Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks or other malicious activity beyond our reasonable control.
This is a service target and not a guarantee.
9. Scheduled Maintenance
Routine maintenance may include:
- Security updates.
- Software updates.
- Server maintenance.
- Performance optimisation.
- Database maintenance.
- Backup verification.
Where practical, scheduled maintenance will be performed outside normal business hours and clients will be notified in advance if significant downtime is expected.
10. Website Backups
Where backups are included in the Client’s service plan:
- Automated backups will be performed on a regular basis.
- Backup retention periods will depend on the selected hosting or maintenance plan.
- Restoration requests are subject to the availability and integrity of backup data.
While reasonable care is taken, CBRT Group cannot guarantee that all data can be recovered in every circumstance.
11. Security Monitoring
Managed websites may include:
- Malware scanning.
- Security monitoring.
- Security updates.
- Firewall management (where applicable).
- Vulnerability mitigation.
Security monitoring reduces risk but does not guarantee immunity from cyber threats.
12. Website Maintenance
Maintenance services may include:
- CMS updates.
- Plugin updates.
- Theme updates.
- Security patches.
- Broken link checks.
- Minor content updates.
- General health checks.
Major redesigns, feature development, or extensive content updates are not included unless specifically agreed.
13. SEO Services
SEO services may include:
- Keyword research.
- On-page optimisation.
- Technical SEO improvements.
- Performance monitoring.
- Monthly reporting.
- Search Console monitoring.
Search engine rankings, traffic, enquiries, and sales cannot be guaranteed.
14. Google Ads Management
Google Ads management may include:

- Campaign optimisation.
- Keyword management.
- Ad copy updates.
- Conversion tracking.
- Monthly reporting.
Advertising spend is separate from management fees and is paid directly by the Client unless otherwise agreed.
15. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Respond promptly to requests for approvals or feedback.
- Maintain valid licences for any third-party software not supplied by CBRT Group.
- Keep account credentials secure.
- Notify CBRT Group promptly of any issues.
Delays in providing required information may affect service delivery.
16. Exclusions
This SLA does not cover:
- Third-party hosting not managed by CBRT Group.
- Internet outages.
- Domain registrar failures.
- Third-party software defects.
- Client-caused issues.
- Malware resulting from unsupported software or insecure client practices.
- Unauthorised modifications by the Client or third parties.
- Work outside the agreed scope.
Such work may be quoted separately.
17. Service Requests
Requests for new functionality, redesigns, additional integrations, or consulting are considered project work and fall outside this SLA unless expressly included in the Client’s agreement.
18. Escalation Procedure
If a service issue has not been resolved within the expected timeframe, the Client may request escalation.
Escalated matters will receive additional review and priority where appropriate.
19. Service Credits
Unless expressly agreed in writing, CBRT Group does not provide automatic service credits or financial compensation for downtime, delays, or missed service targets.
Any goodwill credit or compensation will be at CBRT Group’s sole discretion.
20. Force Majeure
CBRT Group shall not be liable for delays or service interruptions resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters.
- Power failures.
- Internet outages.
- Cyberattacks.
- Government restrictions.
- Labour disputes.
- Third-party provider failures.
- Pandemics.
21. Review of SLA
This SLA may be updated periodically to reflect improvements in services, technologies, or operational requirements.

22. Governing Law
This SLA shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
